Creative Art Workshops
Geared for younger artists who want to deepen their artistic skills, embrace variety of art techniques and build confidence using variety media for artistic voice to bring their own ideas in life. Students engage in techniques, composition, texture and mark making, while working with layers in this mentor-led workshops.
There are multiple options to choose from: Charcoal Painting, Paper Cut and Collage, Patterns with Print making, Acrylic Painting on Canvas, Soft Pastle Painting.
We’re hosting it for celebrating Halloween on this October Half Term, Book for 1 day/ 2 days/ 3 days/ 4 days / all 5 days, each session is designed and students take their creation with them.
We use professional art materials and it’s all included with your booking.

Patterns with Print making on Tuesday 27th October 11.00am to 12.30pm
Acrylic Painting on Canvas on Wednesday 28th October 4.00pm to 5.30pm
Paper Cut and Collage on Friday 30th October 4.00pm to 5.30pm
Soft Pastel Painting on Saturday 31st October 12.00pm to 1.30pm
Location: The Art Hub at the Reading Bike Hub, Reading Town Centre.
Important Parent Note: Parents must remain on-site during the workshop. Because restrooms are downstairs and children cannot go unaccompanied, a guardian must be present to assist. A comfortable seating area is provided for you to relax while your child creates!

Some things to expect your child’s creative time with us
Original ideas to bring on life
Every session starts with a question, what are we creating today? Children develop their own ideas from sketch, drawing into final artwork, guided instructions by illustrator and artist Gunja.
Learning various visual art techniques
Children explore drawing tools, paint media, print media, collage and mark making, learning how professional artists use materials to create a themed artwork. Every child takes their finished artwork home.
A calm, creative space to breathe
Small groups of maximum 10 children mean every child gets individual attention, encouragement and the space to work at their own pace.

A typical workshop includes a small warm-up activity, artistic skill development through use of profeshional art materials, storytelling, thoughtful challenges, and fun group activities.

I’m certified in Safeguarding Training and Enhanced DBS Checked, and we maintain a low student-to-facilitator ratio for close supervision. Allergies and medical needs are documented and closely monitored.
